Making cotton-ball snowmen is a soft, playful winter craft that lets kids build their own fluffy snow friends—no cold hands required! Each snowman becomes a cute, cozy creation with fun decorations and lots of personality.

Supplies Needed:

Cotton balls
White paper or paper snowman cutouts
Glue sticks or school glue
Markers or crayons
Googly eyes (optional)
Small pieces of felt, paper, or ribbon for scarves and hats
Buttons or pom-poms (optional, depending on age)

Instructions:

Prepare the Base: Give each child a snowman outline or let them draw three stacked circles on paper.
Add the “Snow”: Glue cotton balls inside the outline until the snowman is fluffy and covered.
Create the Face: Use markers or googly eyes for eyes, then draw or glue on a carrot nose and smile.
Dress It Up: Add a paper or felt scarf, a tiny hat, or buttons down the front.
Extra Touches: Kids can draw a snowy background or glue on extra cotton balls to create falling snow.
